Pre-vocational Activities for Community-Based Employment
 
 
The Glynn County School System developed the PACE Program which is a community work-based learning experience for students with disabilities.  This program allows students to experience structured work-based learning in a real world environment.  The objective is to provide students with with the foundational skills, interpersonal skills, and career awareness to improve postsecondary outcomes. The PACE program engages students in job opportunities while allowing them to work and learn at their own individual pace.  The end goal of participation in the program is competitive employment.
Eligibility Requirements
  • 11th and 12th grade students and at least 16 years old (some exceptions apply)
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher (some exceptions apply)
  • Good attendance and discipline record
  • Teacher Recommendation (1 must be from the student's Case Manager)
  • A minimum of 1 CTAE credit (may apply while taking the second credit in a related pathway)
  • Must complete a (WBL application (click on link to apply)
