Welcome to the Glynn County Schools Central Registration Office

The Glynn County School System has a centralized registration process for parents who are enrolling their child in school in Glynn County for the first time. Parents must visit the Central Registration office, as opposed to visiting individual schools, to register their child or children.

Documents that will be requested when registering a new student include: 

  • A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate (one identified with a state file number);
  • The child’s Social Security card (disclosure of the child's Social Security Number is voluntary);
  • A certificate of immunization completed by the Glynn County Health Department or primary healthcare provider (DHR form 3231);
  • A certificate of vision/hearing/dental/nutrition screening (DHR form 3300 current within the year that the child enters school) completed by the health department or healthcare provider;
  • Proof of residence (current utility bill, rent/lease/purchase agreement);
  • Parent/legal guardian identification (parent/legal guardian must be present and any photo identification presented as documentation does not have to be government issued);
  • Custody documents (if applicable).

The DHR forms may be obtained from the health department or the child’s primary care provider. Parents who have medical or religious objections to immunizations or health screenings should contact the health department or a private physician for proper documentation.

After you have registered your child or children, you will be given a registration verification document that you must then take to the school(s) for which your residence is zoned. At the school, you will then enroll your child and receive a homeroom assignment or class schedule.
