Parent and Family Engagement

Welcome to the District Title I Webpage for Parent and Family Engagement!

The current GCSS District Parent-Family Engagement Plan is available in both English or Spanish as PDF files (posted below).  Printed copies are also available at the GCSS Board of Education - Central Registration and at all Title I schools in Glynn County.  For more information about parent-family engagement, please contact Dr. Kim Gabriel, Federal Programs Director, at (912) 267-4100, ext. 1545, or through email at [email protected].

Each Title I school has a Parent Involvement Coordinator (PIC) to assist parents and families with academic resources and materials to help their children at home. The PICs provide workshops and activities throughout the school year, as well as maintain the Parent Resource Center at their schools.  For more information about your child's school Parent Resource Center, the materials and workshops available to parents and families, or for any questions relating to Title I parent-family engagement, contact your school PIC (contact information is included as a PDF file below) or visit your school webpage, and click the "Title I" link under the "About Us" or "Parents" tabs.
