REACH Georgia Scholars

Glynn County Schools is proud to announce five outstanding middle school students selected as 2026 REACH Georgia Scholars.

REACH Georgia is a needs-based mentoring and scholarship program that provides promising students with the academic, social, and financial support needed to graduate from high school and achieve postsecondary success.

This year’s Glynn County REACH Scholars are:

• Mylashia Kirksey, Glynn Middle School

• Michayaa Jones, Jane Macon Middle School

• DeMarko Mitchell, Jane Macon Middle School

• Kendyl Calhoun, Needwood Middle School

• Keysel Dominguez Rodas, Risley Middle School

Each student was surprised with the exciting news during a special visit from Assistant Superintendent for Grades 6–12 Mr. Eric Benson, his secretary Mrs. Jennifer Sapp, their respective school principal, and a supporting teacher.

Glynn County Schools congratulates these students on this remarkable achievement and looks forward to watching them continue to grow, learn, and lead!
