Sheriff E. Neal Jump’s Back-to-School Drive
Community Power: Sheriff Jump’s Back-to-School Drive Sets Sights on 5,000 Bookbags
It was amazing to see our community come together last week for Sheriff E. Neal Jump’s 4th annual Back to School Drive! We are so grateful for the 4,084 book bags and even more school supplies that were donated by generous individuals and businesses. These supplies will make a real difference in the lives of our students as they start the new school year tomorrow.
This massive effort would not have been possible without Sheriff Jump, Public Information Officer Robin Sousa, and the entire Sheriff’s Office for spearheading the drive. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our school social workers, district staff, and hard-working student volunteers—including the Glynn Academy NHS Club, Brunswick High Softball team, Brunswick High Production team, and Glynn Academy Key Club—who spent countless hours sorting, packing, and preparing these supplies for distribution.
Thank you to everyone who pitched in to equip our next generation of leaders.
How to Pick Up A Bookbag
To pick up a bookbag for the upcoming school year, please attend your child’s Open House event. Each school across the district will have an allotted number of bookbags available for families at that time.
If your family is in need of additional support, please contact your child’s school directly.
