This year’s theme is Empower. Elevate. Engage. For Quarter 1, our focus shifted to what it means to celebrate our staff members who embody these values every single day—acknowledging those who bring passion, innovation, and heart to our schools to ensure every student has a supportive environment to thrive.

The Empowering Heart Award was our chance to celebrate Glynn County colleagues who:

• Achieve something significant which deeply contributes to the success of their school.
• Use an innovative and enthusiastic approach to their daily job responsibilities.
• Make meaningful contributions that have a measurable, lasting impact on their school community.

We asked our staff members to think about those staff members who look for creative ways to enrich the student experience and lift up everyone around them. This might be a teacher who finds an exciting new way to spark a love of learning, an educator who steps up to solve a unique campus challenge, or a staff member whose daily enthusiasm creates a welcoming space where everyone feels valued. These are the moments when our schools thrive, and these individuals become the true heart of the Glynn County family.
