Work Session Highlights
During the November work session, the Board reviewed several key updates and action items, including:

Financials:

• Reviewed September financial statements and investment reports.

Facilities Update:

• ESPLOST Projects:
  • The Performing Arts Center at the College of Coastal Georgia is progressing well and remains on schedule.
  • Glyndale Elementary Replacement – The project continues to move forward smoothly and is on schedule for Phase 3.
• Capital Outlay Projects:
  • Brunswick High School Fieldhouse – Painting is underway, with a projected completion date in December.
  • Board of Education Wing 4 Renovation – Work is progressing well, with completion expected in late December.

GUDE Report:

• Reviewed the latest report.

Action Items Reviewed:

• ESE Mental Health Services – Sought approval for the purchase of counseling services.
• ParentSquare – Approval sought for annual renewal.
• 2026 Board Meeting Dates – Reviewed proposed dates for approval.

Board Meeting Highlights
The following took place:

• Recognized four 8th-grade REACH Scholars—one from each middle school.
• Celebrated schools and principals named Title I Distinguished and Reward Schools.
• Approved the meeting agenda.
• Approved all items listed on the consent agenda, including those discussed during the work session.
• Officially welcomed and swore in Mr. Shaw McVeigh as the new District 4 Board Member.
