Satilla Marsh Elementary hosted the grand opening of its library today following renovations!

Satilla Marsh Elementary School proudly hosted the grand opening of its library today following exciting renovations! Students were able to tour their brand-new space with a guided walkthrough led by Media Specialist Mrs. Ivy Herrington-Nobles.
Mrs. Nobles and Media Secretary Mrs. Missy Loper worked tirelessly to prepare the library for students’ return, supported by the generous help of high school volunteers. The space is uniquely decorated with items created using the school’s very own 3D printer, purchased by Mrs. Loper with a stipend from the Connect Glynn Externship program.
In a special highlight, students can now check out "Yummy Cornbread!", a children’s book authored by Mrs. Nobles herself, right from their school library shelves.
Superintendent Mr. Mike Blackerby also stopped by to see the beautiful new space and share in the excitement as students explored their updated library for the very first time!
