On Tuesday, July 8th, the Glynn County Board of Education recognized our student athletes and coaches from both Brunswick High and Glynn Academy that won GHSA State Championships in 2025.  The Glynn County School System congratulates these State Champions, their coaches, and their families on this outstanding accomplishment. 

1.  Brunswick High School Boys Track

• Coach Brian Edwards

• Honor Antonio Clar Jr.

• Honor Nigel Gardner

• Honor Jamarious Towns

• Honor Antwan Kirk

• Won the State Championship on the 4 x 200 Relay with a time of 1:28

2.  Brunswick High School Wrestling

• Coach Tom Bartolotta-500 Wins

• Honor Senior Clayton Hicks

• 2 Time Back to Back State Champion 

3.  Glynn Academy Boys Track

• Coach Josh Veal-filling in is Asst. Coach Christian Harrison

• Honor Senior Ky’leon Bacon

• Won the State CHampionship in the Discus at 153-1’

4.  Glynn Academy Wrestling

• Coach Ryan Alfau-filling in is asst coach Paul Hartman

• Senior AJ Waters-150 State Champion

• Senior Phil Cutino-132 State Champion
