Kamille Nuque, a seventh-grader at Needwood Middle School, is the 2025 Glynn County Spelling Bee winner. Julia Knight, an eighth-grader at Glynn Middle School, will serve as the alternate.

The winning word was astringent.

NOTE: The Region 8 District Spelling Bee will be held on Feb. 22, followed by the Georgia Association of Educators (GAE) State Spelling Bee on March 21.
