Sheriff E. Neal Jump’s Back-to-School Drive

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Sheriff E. Neal Jump’s Annual Back-to-School Drive was once again a tremendous success. This year, Robin Sousa, Public Information Officer for the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office, stopped counting once she reached 3,000 donated bookbags, an incredible milestone that speaks volumes about the heart of Glynn County.

On Tuesday, July 29th, a group of dedicated student athletes from Glynn County Schools stepped up to help stuff each of the donated bookbags with school supplies. These students gave their time and energy to support their peers, what a meaningful way to spend one of their final mornings of summer break.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Sheriff E. Neal Jump, Robin Sousa, the entire Sheriff’s Office, and the many businesses, organizations, and individuals who donated supplies. Their support ensures that students across the district are set up for a successful school year.

By Friday, August 1st, bookbags will be delivered to schools across the district. Our school counselors and social workers will ensure they are distributed directly to students who need them.

If your family is in need of a bookbag, please contact your child’s school directly.
