Ms. Laura Bersticker wears many hats – chef, Girl Scout Leader, Chick-fil-A consultant – and now, Teacher of the Year! In a room filled with her peers from across the county, and set against the picturesque backdrop of Jekyll Island, the Golden Isles College and Career Academy culinary arts instructor was named the 2024-2025 Glynn County Teacher of the Year!
Congratulations on this well-deserved honor. You are an exceptional teacher, and we know you will represent our county well. And a huge shoutout to all our TOTYs! You all exemplify dedication, passion, and a heart for students. The speeches last night highlighted just how much you care about the needs of others, going above and beyond to advocate for your students and colleagues. You are absolute rockstars making a lasting impact on us all!
We also want to extend our thanks and gratitude to Georgia Power, the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, and all our sponsors for their support and partnership in making our event a success.
As we often say, we’re blessed with the best in Glynn! #strongerglynn
