Certification Renewal Information for GaPSC Issued Certificates
 
GaPSC has moved to an Employer online secure portal for certification renewals.  In order to renew your certificate, you must complete each of the three requirements listed below.
 
Requirement 1: Fingerprint Background Check 
Georgia Law and GaPSC require that we have a current copy of your criminal history background report, in order to request certification renewal.  Human Resources will communicate (via email) the schedule for fingerprinting for all employees who require this step.
 
We cannot accept the Georgia Weapons Carry License as documentation.
 
 
Requirement 2: Personal Affirmation Questions
Please login to your GaPSC MyPSC account to complete the Personal Affirmation Questions.  
 
 
If you have not already completed the MyPSC account registration, please visit https://mypsc.gapsc.org to register for your MyPSC account. 
 
You will need to contact GaPSC if you are unable to login to your My PSC account.
 
 
Requirement 3: Professional Learning Goal(s)/Plan(s)
GaPSC requires that the evaluator has completed documentation affirming that an educator is making adequate progress on his/per Professional Learning Goal(s)/Plan(s) in TKES/LKES or TalentEd as a part of the certification renewal process.
 
You are able to check the status of your Professional Learning Goal(s)/Plan(s) in either the TKES/LKES Platform or in the TalentEd Platform.  You do not need to provide any additional documentation for this requirement.  The Human Resources Department is able to access and verify that an educator is making adequate progress.
