Jackson Hunter, a freshman on the Glynn Academy cross-country team, participated in the Meet of Champions in Fayetteville on Nov. 11 after receiving an invite earlier in the week based off his great season performances. Out of the 127 elite competitors, Hunter placed 18th overall with a time of 16:12, and received a medal for finishing in the Top 20. Hunter made history for the Glynn Academy team for being the first runner to participate in this elite event.
