Throughout the month of October and November, we will be introducing you to the 2023-2024 Glynn County Teachers of the Year.
Emily Morgan was named Teacher of the Year at Glyndale Elementary School. He has taught AP United States Government and Politics at GA. She has taught kindergarten and fifth grade.

Family: I have been married for five years to my husband, TJ Morgan. We have two dogs, a hound mix named Dolly and a pit mix named Opie. My parents, Mark and Kathleen Fell, are also educators. My older sister, Sarah, brother in law Hyatt, and younger sister, Claire, live in Atlanta.
What is your greatest teaching memory? My greatest teaching memory is probably my first year of teaching. Going through everything as a first year teacher was an experience I will always remember! Especially since I was hired as a 5th grade teacher, but was moved to kindergarten a month into school due to high numbers in kindergarten. I was and still am thankful for this switch! Kindergarten is where I am meant to be. A year full of memories!
What is a fact about you that most people don't know? I was a Division 1 swimmer for Georgia Southern University during all four years of college.
Any hidden talents or hobbies? My hobbies include reading, spending time outdoors, and staying active. I enjoy biking, camping, hiking, and tennis. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling.
