Family: I come from a family with many siblings. I have four sisters and a brother.  My family is very important to me and so supportive.

Who is your role model? My mom is my role model. She is an amazing mom of four. She raised us all while being a single mom and went to school for her nursing degree. She now is a family practitioner. She overcame her childhood and knew she had to keep going to support her family.

What book has most influenced you? Everybody Always by Bob Goff. You never know someone's situation. By having the mindset of treating everyone the same and to be kind is how I try to live my life. Everyone has a story and it’s not fair to judge someone.

What is your greatest teaching memory? This past year at open house I had a student who I taught in kindergarten that is now in third grade come back to see me. She is not on the same hall anymore but she told her mom she couldn’t leave without coming to give me a hug.

What is your favorite quote or personal motto? A personal motto I live by is that tomorrow is another day. I speak this motto into my students as well. There are days that may not go as planned but you always have the next day to change it.

What is a fact about you that most people don't know? My sister and I look like twins but we are not.
