Glynn Virtual Academy
The Glynn Virtual Academy opened during the 2021-2022 school year to students, grades K-12. All academic history, including attendance, are reviewed as part of the approval process for Glynn Virtual Academy. IEP meetings must be held prior to enrollment at GVA for any student currently receiving special education services.
Virtual School is a semester-long commitment by the student. Middle and High School students will be served using the Edgenuity platform, a self-paced study program. K-5 students will be expected to attend live instruction in google classroom during the school day and will be assigned a virtual learning teacher. The teacher assigned may or may not be from the student's home school.
Students approved to participate in the Glynn Virtual Academy must have access to reliable internet at home. If you have any questions about the process, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
All district assessments, final exams, and Georgia Milestones testing will be administered in person.
District-provided devices (i.e. laptops) will be available.
