Certificate Level Upgrade Information for GaPSC Issued Certificates
 
GaPSC has moved to an Employer online secure portal for certificate level upgrade requests.  In order to request a certificate level upgrade, you must complete each of the requirements listed below.
 
Requirement 1: Personal Affirmation Questions (PAQs)
Please login to your GaPSC MyPSC account to complete the Personal Affirmation Questions (PAQs).  
 
 
If you have not already completed the MyPSC account registration, please visit https://mypsc.gapsc.org to register for your MyPSC account. 
 
You will need to contact GaPSC if you are unable to login to your My PSC account.
 
 
Requirement 2: MyPSC Application for Upgrade (submit through MyPSC)
Once you have submitted your application through your MyPSC account, the Glynn County Schools Human Resources Department will receive an email requesting the Employer Assurance Form. This form is intended as a waiver for the $20 processing fee and will be completed electronically for actively employed educators with Glynn County Schools.


Requirement 3: Request FINAL official transcripts from your college/university (transcripts must show degree completion statement)
The transcripts must be transmitted in a secure electronic format as Parchment or E-Script directly to either [email protected] OR [email protected] for upload to your GaPSC account - the GaPSC will not accept transcripts uploaded by the educator.
 
 
Requirement 4: IF YOU COMPLETED A PROGRAM IN CONJUNCTION WITH YOUR ADVANCED DEGREE - Request that your college/university submit the Approved Program Completion Form (TPMS) directly to your PSC account.  Click HERE to access the official GaPSC TPMS form.
 
 
 
Please keep in mind that pay upgrades cannot be applied until the GaPSC has awarded the upgraded certificate level*.  If you have any questions, please contact our Certification Specialist Mary Beth Brothers at (912) 267-4100 ext. 1155, or by email at [email protected].  
 
*Completing an advanced degree in Educational leadership could result in receiving a "leader level" in addition to the "general level".  If this occurs, increased pay will only be applied to the leader level when serving in an actual leadership position (e.g. assistant principal, principal)
