2023-2024 Teacher of the Year

And the 2023-2024 Glynn County Teacher of the Year is……….

Burroughs-Molette’s Ms. Helen Kennedy. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor. You are an exceptional teacher; we know you will represent our county well.

And congratulations to all of our TOTYs. You all are exemplary teachers with incredible work ethics and hearts for students. From the speeches last night, it is evident that each of you is passionate about the needs of others and goes above and beyond your duties to advocate for all of your students and colleagues. You are absolute rockstars who continue to make an impact on us all!

We would be remiss if we did not thank Georgia Power, the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and all of our sponsors for their support and partnership in making our event a success, but especially our Golden Isles College & Career Academy culinary students for providing our winners with a beautiful spread and our title sponsor, Lou Sobh Kia of Brunswick, who surprised Ms. Kennedy with a brand-new car!

As we often say, we’re blessed with the best in Glynn County!
