Barbara was a friend of the Career Academy. She was a super mom, wife, volunteer, substitute, and support of the Career Academy. She cared and helped our staff and students with a caring heart. Barbara was always there when you needed her.
Golden Isles Association of REALTORS Scholarship: Garrison Rose $500
They are a REALTOR Association committed to professionalism, sound ethical practices, and community involvement
among our members, while promoting and protecting property ownership. The Association has been strong supporters of the Career Academy throughout the years.

King & Prince Seafood Scholarship: Colby Griner $500
King and Prince Seafood is one of the largest seafood companies in the United States with global links for sourcing your needs thru Nissui. King & Prince Seafood has been a long-standing Forging Partner of the Career Academy and a great resource for the staff and students.
Tony Thaw Scholarship: Joshua Lynah $500
Tony is a local electrical contractor that wanted to improve the graduation rate for Glynn County and build a skilled
workforce. Mr. Thaw has been on the Board of Directors for the Career Academy and is a believer in the importance of soft skills and work ethic.
Russ Mosher Scholarship: Shmaya Williams $500
This scholarship is named after Mr. Russel O. Mosher and Mrs. Patricia Mosher. After retiring from the United States
Navy in 1974 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, Mr. Mosher served the Glynn County School System for 24 years as the Metals Instructor at Brunswick High School. Mrs. Mosher similarly served as a Para Professional at two elementary schools assisting teachers in all aspects of instruction. The scholarship is intended to recognize those students who exhibit selfless service, academic excellence and a desire to further their education to support their community.
