The interviewee was Mrs. Theresa Collum. The interviewee has agreed to let me tell her story to other people. I interviewed Mrs. Collum on the Vietnam War. Mrs. Collum remembers many things about the Vietnam War. Mrs. Collum did her best to explain to me in full detail, all that she could remember about the Vietnam War. The interviewee performed very well on explaining her memories to me.
Mrs. Collum has memories that are vague and some memories that are very clear. "The war was very costly for America," said Mrs. Collum. "The Vietnam War took the lives of many American soldiers, and brought grief to many Americans," said Mrs. Collum. The Vietnam War lasted from about 1950-1975, and was one of the most costly wars in the history of the United States.

Mrs. Collum was at the age of eighteen when she actually got interested in what was going on in the war. "I started watching the news everyday, and paying more attention in schools, so that I could learn more about the Vietnam War," said Mrs. Collum. "News about the war was on the television everyday, and everyday it was the same bad news, just more Americans dying," said Mrs. Collum. "The first time that I heard about the war on the television was when I was sitting in my living room and a special report came up on the screen talking about a air raid on the jungles," said Mrs. Collum.
The Vietnamese used a much very different type of fighting style than the Americans did. The Vietnamese used "guerrilla warfare." The Vietnamese also used many tunnels in the ground, to ambush and kill American soldiers. The Vietnamese had many secret trails through the jungle, many of which were "booby trapped" with mines and other explosives.
"The Vietnam War was a war that the United States should have never been involved with," said Mrs. Collum. "I think that the United States had no right being in that war," said Mrs. Collum. The Vietnam War is something that everyone should have learned a lesson from. The government and the military should have learned a very good lesson in warfare also," she said.
"The Vietnam War should never be forgotten, and should always be a grim reminder of how horrid war can be," said Mrs. Collum. The Vietnam War is a very important part of the history of the United States.

The Vietnam War caused many economical and military problems, but it also taught the United States many valuable lessons in which we still keep in mind today. "The Vietnam War to me was nothing but a huge loss of life, and a war for no cause," said Mrs. Collum.
My interview with Mrs. Collum went very well. Mrs. Collum provided me with very good information, and with the great effort. I learned many things that I did not know from my interview with Mrs. Collum. This interview went very well, and I will always remember.
